A comprehensive analysis of emerging technologies and pedagogical approaches
Abstract: This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the intersection between emerging technologies and pedagogical approaches in contemporary education. It examines how innovations such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), gamification, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) are reshaping traditional teaching and learning models. The study identifies key technological innovations in education, evaluates their impact on pedagogical strategies, and examines the challenges educators face when integrating these tools into their instructional practice. Employing a secondary research methodology, the study synthesizes relevant scholarly literature, institutional reports, and documented case studies to assess prevailing trends and challenges in educational technology adoption. The findings indicate that while emerging technologies contribute to personalized learning, enhanced student engagement, and improved accessibility, their effective implementation is frequently constrained by resistance to change, infrastructural limitations, and concerns related to digital equity. The paper underscores the importance of aligning pedagogical methodologies with technological advancements to promote dynamic, inclusive, and student-centred learning environments.
